As a charity, The Percival Guildhouse is inspired, encouraged and sustained by the support it receives from volunteers, students, long-term supporters, donors and grant awarding bodies.
Such support has enabled us to weather challenges and societal changes for over 100 years and enables us today to continue to be unique as a provider of lifelong learning in Rugby.
It was volunteers who took the brave decision some 50 years ago to carry on as a self-supporting enterprise after all municipal funding was withdrawn in the 1970s. Since then, and with grateful financial support from other charities such as the Westham House Fund whose grants enable us to offer subsidies to those on benefits, we have continued to pursue our passion for education.
That passion to promote culture, creativity and community by offering the widest possible range of courses for adults in a safe and welcoming setting is only able to prosper with continued support – support which is as much about giving your time as it is about helping us financially.
Thank you.
